Radius Gage Calibration

Applied Technical Services’ metrology lab offers radius gage calibrations to clients in multiple industries. Our experts can verify or correct your radius gage equipment in conformance to applicable standards as well as your individual needs.
A Radius gage, also called a fillet gage, is commonly used by engineers, welders, and electricians to measure the radius of curved surfaces. Each metal “leaf” of the gage has a different radius that can be compared to the curve of a test surface. However, not every radius gage performs within manufacturer tolerance. Radius gages can fall out of tolerance due to wearing of the metal, aging, or other factors.
To ensure the accuracy and validity of their radius gage tools, companies often seek third-party calibration service providers like ATS. Our experienced technicians can calibrate both convex and concave radii sections of each leaf to produce accurate measurements. ATS calibrations include As Found and As Left Data and are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
We service radius gages from a range of manufacturers, including (but not limited to):
